Our Facebook page is vetted to ensure that we represent your jobs – in any field and at any level – in a professionally presented manner. When given a submission we will use as much of the original text as possible but may correct spelling, formatting and in some cases terminology that impacts quality.

What doesn’t work:
- DM me / follow on insta, etc – this results in people invariably DM’ing us not you or people reluctant to make personal connections for business purposes; the latter being a privacy no-no
- Adverts that are too small in context – labourer wanted John 0499 777 888 – labourer? for what? where? PPE? industry? duration? etc.
- In some cases advertisers express themselves out of frustration which can be read as demeaning to candidates. We can’t support that and will suggest edits as appropriate

This is a free service….why?
We have business interests in the employment sector. For us, promoting jobs for free improves our awareness of the Coast’s hiring needs and builds relationships with our core business.
In addition, if we can raise the quality of adverts then candidates and employers will benefit. We do also see the low content adverts and the constant scams coming up too. By showing legitimate adverts that are professionally presented it means that candidates hopefully are left with a better expectation of a legitimate employer and employers have higher quality and relevant applications.
We work morning, noon and night on this – no don’t read that wrong 🙂 – we do it in our breaks! So please don’t feel that we are not being responsive to your advert submissions and we will to them as soon as we can.
